Job summary

Voyages Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for our behavioral health unit. The LPN/LVN will deliver and supervise patient care using the nursing process, under supervision of the CNO or House Supervisor, and participate in discharge planning and family teaching for post-hospitalization.

The role requires active LPN/LVN licensure in the state, BLS certification, and crisis management certification per policy.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as LPN/LVN in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Plan and coordinate patient care, including discharge planning and teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Engage in interdisciplinary planning and access community resources as needed.
