Job summary

PAM Voyages Behavioral Health of Conroe is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to deliver, direct and supervise patient care in our inpatient behavioral health unit under the Chief Nursing Officer.

You will use the nursing process, participate in discharge planning, educate patients and families for post-hospital needs, and coordinate interdisciplinary care. Texas licensure and BLS are required; crisis management certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Holds current licensure as an LPN/LVN in Texas.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Crisis management certification per hospital policy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care using the nursing process.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning.
• Discharge planning and patient/family education for post-hospitalization.
• Access community resources for patient needs.
