Peabody, a leading coal producer supplying power and steel customers in more than 25 countries, is hiring a Transfer Building/Structure Yard Attendant for the Conveyance Team at its Twentymile Mine in Oak Creek, Colorado, at an hourly pay range of $39.63 to $44.67 depending on experience. Reporting to the Conveyance Manager, the attendant loads structure trailers, fills roller bins and loads them with the loader, builds top and bottom frame kits, sorts structure and pipe, fetches warehouse supplies for pipe trailers and keeps the yard clean and organized. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; Colorado Mine Foreman, electrical and noise certifications and previous mining experience are preferred. The safety-sensitive role works rotating day, evening and night shifts, weekends and holidays, and involves standing on uneven ground and lifting up to 80 pounds.
