Job summary

DePaul University is seeking an Admissions Counselor to execute targeted recruitment activities and manage an assigned territory. You will counsel prospective students and families, evaluate transcripts and transferable credit, and host information sessions and events on and off campus.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, strong communication, and travel between DePaul campuses and local community colleges. Residency in the Chicagoland area is required, with some evening and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in higher education or admissions preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Residency in the Chicagoland area required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and travel as needed.
• Strong planning, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students and families about admission criteria and other factors.
• Host information sessions, open houses, and recruitment events on and off campus.
• Maintain territory data and document communications in the CRM Slate.
