Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a Transducer Manufacturing Engineering Co-op in the Evident Inspection Technologies division. The role is onsite in Waltham, MA, January to June 2027, supporting the Transducer Production Engineering team with design, testing and documentation.

You will lead primary projects, assist acoustics engineering, and collaborate with production and product management while applying Lean principles and data analysis tools like Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Physics, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or related engineering field.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a primary project from start to finish during the co‑op term.
• Assist Sr. Acoustics Engineer with evaluation, development and testing of new systems.
• Support production engineering and manufacturing teams on various tasks as needed.
