Job summary

Wabtec Corporation’s Evident Inspection Technologies division is seeking a Transducer Manufacturing Engineering Co-op in Waltham, MA for January–June 2027. You’ll join a multi-disciplinary team handling design, testing and documentation while supporting lean improvements and safe, ergonomic manufacturing practices.

You will collect data, read schematics, and contribute to test system development under guidance from senior engineers, with exposure to Excel/Power BI analysis and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing BS or MS degree in Physics, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or other Engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead primary project assigned for the co-op term from start to completion.
• Assist Sr. Acoustics Engineer in evaluation, development and implementation of new test systems and protocols.
• Assist production and production engineering team with other projects and tasks as needed.
• Collect and analyze manufacturing data using Excel, Power BI and internal software tools.
• Conduct process audits and time studies, proposing improvements based on Lean Manufacturing principles.
