OpenKrill is seeking a Transcription Specialist to help improve AI-powered speech recognition by listening to audio recordings and producing accurate transcripts. You will annotate transcripts to reflect pauses, fillers, and speaker changes, with timestamps where needed.

This remote role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to earn more by handling more work. Strong attention to detail and prior transcription experience are valued for high-quality data output.

Task Summary (What to Expect)

Your role in this project is to listen to audio recordings and create accurate written transcripts of what is spoken. These transcripts will help improve AI-powered speech recognition systems.

Responsibilities

• Transcribing audio recordings into text with high accuracy
• Capturing speech exactly as spoken, including pauses, filler words (e.g., "uh," "um"), repetitions, and incomplete sentences
• Adding timestamps to match the audio
• Identifying and labeling different speakers in conversations
• Marking non-speech events such as laughter, background noise, or unclear audio

Attention to detail and strong listening skills are important to ensure high-quality transcription output.

What We're Looking For

• Excellent knowledge of and familiarity with spelling conventions in Arabic language.
• Can be located anywhere, but must be fluent in Egyptian dialect.
• Good reading comprehension skills in English.
• Stable internet connection.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to review examples and apply rules to the provided data.
• Prior experience with transcription.

Payments

You will be paid at the published rate per audio hour. Tasks are presented in units of varying audio lengths, and you may complete as many units as you wish.

All submitted work must meet the required quality standards. Failure to meet quality requirements may result in task rejection.
