Permanent Placements LLC is seeking a junior ERISA and transactional associate for its Chicago practice. The role involves advising financial institutions, lenders, and private funds on ERISA compliance in sophisticated financing transactions.

The position offers a hybrid schedule (in-office and remote) with a base salary in the $225,000–$235,000 range, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Our client, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking a junior associate to join its Chicago-based ERISA and transactional practice. This role offers the opportunity to advise financial institutions, lenders, and private investment funds on ERISA compliance issues arising in sophisticated financing transactions. The practice is involved in a broad range of matters, including acquisition financings, leveraged finance transactions, fund financings, bridge loans, syndicated and bilateral credit facilities, and cross-border transactions.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on ERISA-related issues in complex financing transactions
• Analyze regulatory and compliance considerations affecting lenders, investors, and funds
• Support transactional teams across domestic and international financing matters
• Conduct legal research and draft transaction-related documentation and analyses
• Collaborate with attorneys across finance, private equity, and investment fund practices

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
