CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) seeks a Manager/Director - Transaction Tax to join our Transaction Tax practice in Illinois. You will lead tax due diligence and structuring projects, coordinate with specialty tax groups, and manage client relationships while mentoring junior staff.

The role emphasizes an entrepreneurial culture with autonomy and accountability, overseeing budgets and timelines across engagements. CPA is required; JD or EA may substitute in some cases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience performing federal, state, and/or international tax compliance, planning, and consulting services.
• Perfessional licensure as CPA is required; JD or EA may be accepted in lieu of CPA.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop client relationships and mentoring team members.
• Deliver due diligence, structuring, modeling and other tax engagements related to acquisitions and dispositions by PE groups and buyers.
• Collaborate with SALT, International, and Federal tax groups as needed.
• Perform tax due diligence reviews of returns, documents, and financials; produce reports.
• Oversee engagement progress, budgets and deadlines; communicate developments to engagement principal.
