CLA is seeking a Manager/Director – Transaction Tax to join our Transaction Tax practice in Massachusetts. You will manage client relationships, lead tax due diligence and structuring engagements for acquisitions and dispositions, and collaborate with SALT, International Tax and Federal Tax Solutions groups.

You will mentor team members, monitor engagement time and budgets, and communicate findings and recommendations to the engagement principal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in federal, state, and/or international tax compliance, planning, and consulting.
• CPA license required; JD or EA may be accepted in lieu of CPA.

Responsabilités

• Manage and develop relationships with new business development, existing clients and mentoring team members.
• Lead tax due diligence, structuring, modeling and other engagements for acquisitions and dispositions.
• Collaborate with SALT, International Tax, and Federal Tax Solutions groups as needed.
• Perform tax due diligence by reviewing tax returns, legal documents, and financial statements; write reports.
• Lead engagement progress by monitoring time, budgets and deadlines; ensure adherence.
• Communicate developments to the engagement principal with facts, conclusions, and recommendations.
