Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Transaction Analyst in Denver to support the complete lifecycle of commercial lease transactions, from onboarding to closeout and financial processing. You will abstract and analyze lease documents, coordinate transaction packages, and ensure accuracy and timely delivery with transaction managers and client stakeholders.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, independent work capability, and collaboration with experienced real estate professionals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, finance, economics, or related field.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate leases and CRE concepts.
  • Proven ability to manage high transaction volumes with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with client service orientation.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret qualitative and quantitative information.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills for multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to pass JLL and client‑mandated background checks.

Responsibilities

  • Abstract, analyze, and interpret commercial lease documents with accuracy.

  • Draft commercial lease documents under manager oversight with quality control.
  • Maintain data across all databases and update owner/transaction details.
  • Review packages for completeness and notify managers of deficiencies.
  • Monitor email channels for transactions, close out databases timely.
  • Submit invoices and supporting documents to finance with proper formatting.
  • Participate in special projects and data initiatives, meeting deadlines.
  • Build relationships with client teams, managers, and leadership through high‑quality deliverables.

Transaction Analyst

What this job involves: As a Transaction Analyst at JLL, you’ll be at the heart of our transaction management operations, supporting the complete lifecycle of commercial lease transactions in a dynamic, high-volume environment. In this role, you’ll manage everything from property onboarding and lease drafting through closeout and financial processing, ensuring every detail is executed with precision and care. You’ll work closely with Transaction Managers and client stakeholders to abstract and analyze lease documents, maintain critical database systems, and coordinate the seamless flow of transaction packages from initiation to completion. What your day‑to‑day will look like:


  • Abstract, analyze, and interpret commercial lease documents with meticulous attention to accuracy and completeness

  • Onboard new projects by abstracting data into company systems, verifying ownership and parcel information with county records, and pre‑drafting lease documents for transaction manager review

  • Draft commercial lease documents under transaction manager oversight, maintaining strict quality control standards and ensuring all terms are accurately reflected

  • Maintain accurate and complete data across all database systems, including current property owner contact information, entity details, and transaction status updates

  • Review transaction packages using established checklists, verify completeness of all required documentation, and communicate any deficiencies to transaction managers promptly

  • Monitor designated email channels for executed transactions, complete database closeouts in a timely manner, and organize electronic files according to established protocols

  • Submit invoices and supporting documentation to the finance team, ensuring all required materials are complete, properly formatted, and filed appropriately

  • Participate in special projects and data management initiatives, delivering accurate results on deadline while managing multiple competing priorities

  • Build productive working relationships with client teams, transaction managers, and leadership through responsive service, clear communication, and consistently high‑quality deliverables


Required qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, finance, economics, or related field

  • Knowledge of commercial real estate leases and fundamental CRE concepts and terminology

  • Proven ability to manage high transaction volumes while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while knowing when to seek guidance and elevate issues appropriately

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with strong client service orientation

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret both qualitative and quantitative information effectively

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment

  • Ability to pass JLL and client‑mandated background checks


Preferred qualifications:


  • Experience with industry tools such as CoStar or similar commercial real estate databases

  • Previous exposure to lease administration, transaction coordination, or commercial real estate operations

  • Active real estate brokerage or salesperson license

  • Familiarity with company‑specific account‑management programs or database systems

  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment where knowledge sharing and mutual support drive collective success

Estimated compensation for this position: 60,000.00 – 60,000.00 USD per year. This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
