Job summary

BST Gallagher Flynn LLP seeks a Transaction Advisory Services Manager to lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence, quality of earnings analyses, and related engagements. Based in South Burlington, VT or Albany, NY with remote options, the role requires a CPA or progress toward one and a strong accounting background.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in public accounting, proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Minimum of 5 years in public accounting (audit and/or transaction advisory).
• 2+ years in transaction advisory preferred.
• CPA license preferred.
• Excellent technical skills, including data management and analysis.
• Experience in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day responsibilities in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements across industries.
• Lead diligence meetings with target company management.
• Perform quality of earnings and working capital analyses, including adjusting entries to client financial statements.
• Understand and evaluate financial and operational trends of subject companies.
• Assist in analyzing financial operations and identifying issues impacting purchase price.
• Prepare and communicate due diligence findings in formal reports.
• Manage multiple projects and engagements concurrently.
• Assist in preparing proposals and engagement letters.
• Supervise Associates and provide performance feedback.
