Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting, finance, audit, or transaction advisory experience.
• CPA or CFA designation required.
• Experience in financial due diligence, Quality of Earnings, or transaction advisory services preferred.
• Private equity and/or portfolio company experience is advantageous but not required.
• Strong understanding of cash, modified cash, and accrual accounting, including cash to accrual conversions.
• Experience analyzing financial statements, EBITDA, working capital, and business performance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Macabacus and QuickBooks preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight transaction deadlines.
• Strong business acumen and a proactive, detail oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead buy side and sell side financial due diligence engagements from planning through delivery.
• Analyze target company financial statements, operating data, and performance to identify trends, risks, and value drivers.
• Evaluate historical and projected financial performance, revenue streams, cost structures, and business models.
• Prepare and review Quality of Earnings analyses, including EBITDA normalization and adjustments.
• Analyze working capital trends, debt like items, cash flows, and potential liabilities.
• Identify financial, operational, and commercial risks that could affect a transaction.
• Evaluate pre acquisition and post acquisition considerations, including financial integration challenges and operational risks.
• Assist with purchase price adjustments, deal structuring considerations, and other transaction related analyses.
• Prepare and review comprehensive due diligence reports and present findings to clients and deal teams.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and external stakeholders.
• Communicate complex financial findings and transaction risks clearly to senior leadership and clients.
• Develop understanding of each client's business, industry, and objectives.
• Work with clients to identify opportunities and provide practical recommendations throughout the transaction process.
• Mentor junior team members and review work for quality.
• Collaborate with valuation, tax, IT, and other advisory professionals to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to training programs and improvements to due diligence methodologies.
• Support growth of the Transaction Advisory Services practice.
