Job summary

Grassi is seeking a Transaction Advisory Manager focused on Financial Due Diligence to join our growing advisory practice. This role may be based in multiple offices or remotely for candidates located in NY, NJ, MA, CT, PA, or nearby states.

The position oversees buy-side and sell-side due diligence, analyzes financial statements and KPIs, and communicates insights to clients while fostering strong relationships and contributing to practice growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of Transaction Advisory experience, and 5+ total years of relevant experience
  • CPA license required
  • Construction and/or manufacturing & distribution industry experience desired; Industry agnostic experience considered
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, initiative, and leadership skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism and consistently demonstrates respect for others

Responsibilities

  • Leading buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence and Quality of Earnings (QoE) engagements, delivering actionable insights that help clients evaluate transaction opportunities and make informed business decisions
  • Managing multiple concurrent engagements while ensuring exceptional client service, high-quality deliverables, and timely execution across all phases of the transaction process
  • Analyzing financial statements, operating results, and key performance metrics to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and value drivers that impact transaction outcomes
  • Developing comprehensive reports, presentations, and analyses that clearly communicate findings, proposed adjustments, and strategic considerations to clients and stakeholders
  • Evaluating revenue quality, earnings sustainability, working capital trends, cash flow performance, and balance sheet accounts to assess the financial health of target businesses
  • Facilitating meetings and discussions with clients, target company management, and key stakeholders while serving as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through responsive service, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering meaningful business insights
  • Contributing to practice growth initiatives by supporting business development activities, participating in networking and industry events, creating thought leadership content, and expanding professional relationships
  • Supporting a collaborative team environment that promotes knowledge sharing, innovation, and excellence in serving clients across diverse industries
  • Traveling to client sites, firm offices, and industry events as needed while maintaining flexibility to meet engagement and client service requirements

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Transaction Advisory Manager focused on Financial Due Diligence to join our team in any of the following office locations: Jericho, NY; New York, NY; Park Ridge, NJ; Chelmsford, MA; Needham, MA; Glastonbury, CT; or Wayne, PA. We will also consider remote candidates based in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Greater Philadelphia market. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing firm.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

CPA Incentive:

Compensation for this role is determined based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to your relevant experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. New York ranges are from $120,000 - $170,000
