Job summary

Grassi & Co., CPA's P.C. in Wayne, PA seeks a Tax Manager to join our hybrid team. The role oversees tax engagements, mentors staff, and ensures timely delivery while maintaining client relations throughout the year.

The position requires CPA licensure, 5+ years of progressive tax experience, and strong communication skills. Our Wayne office opens in 2026 with three onsite days per week and opportunities for growth and leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree in taxation or equivalent preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive tax preparation, review and supervisory experience.
  • CPA license is required.
  • Industry agnostic experience considered; Construction, manufacturing & distribution, real estate, and financial services industry experience desired.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Tax software, ProSystems and CCH.
  • Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, corporate consolidated returns, consolidated federal tax returns, partnership returns, and combined state tax returns.
  • Ability to conduct detailed review of various tax returns.
  • Ability to manage staff on multiple engagements.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, supervise staff and lead projects.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism and consistently demonstrates respect for others.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Tax Manager to join our team in our Wayne, PA office location. Our new office is anticipated to officially open in September 2026. This is a hybrid position with an expectation of three days per week onsite. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing firm.
