Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Training Specialist to deliver standardized training across Receiving, Picking, Inventory Control, Shipping, RMA, WOP, and CM22. This role ensures new hires are onboarded with consistent, safe, and effective instruction.

You will lead New Hire Orientation, process-path training, PIT certification, and OSHA compliance, while supporting ongoing employee development and cross‑training initiatives across shifts. Accurate records and gap‑analysis are essential.

The Warehouse Training Specialist position is a critical role within the Hyve Solutions Operations and Training organization and is essential to maintaining workforce readiness, operational excellence, safety compliance, and consistent training delivery across the facility. This position directly supports the execution of all warehouse training programs, including New Hire Orientation (NHO), process‑path training, Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification and recertification, compliance training, retraining initiatives, and ongoing employee development. The Training Specialist is responsible for delivering standardized training to associates across multiple operational departments, including Receiving, Picking, Inventory Control, Shipping, RMA, WOP, and CM22. The role ensures new and existing associates receive the knowledge, skills, and hands‑on training necessary to perform their jobs safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. From a business perspective, maintaining this position is necessary to support site productivity, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction goals. Training Specialists play a key role in accelerating time-to-productivity for new hires, reducing training gaps, and ensuring consistent process execution across all departments and shifts. Their presence helps improve onboarding effectiveness, employee engagement, and retention by providing structured learning and support throughout an associate’s development journey. Additionally, the Training Specialist supports compliance with OSHA regulations, PIT certification requirements, customer‑specific standards, and internal safety policies. Through classroom instruction, practical evaluations, coaching, audits, observations, and certification management, this role helps mitigate operational risk, reduce safety incidents, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The position also contributes directly to operational performance by identifying skill gaps, conducting retraining, supporting process improvements, and maintaining accurate training records. These responsibilities impact productivity attainment, inventory accuracy, quality metrics, safety performance, and overall operational efficiency. Without adequate Training Specialist support, the facility would face increased risk of inconsistent training delivery, extended learning curves for new hires, higher error rates, increased safety exposure, and reduced workforce flexibility. As the facility continues to grow and support customer demands, Training Specialists are essential to scaling operations, cross‑training associates, supporting workforce development initiatives, and maintaining a highly skilled and compliant workforce. This position serves as a key resource for operational leaders by ensuring associates are trained, certified, and prepared to meet business expectations.
