Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Conductor experience required or asset
• Strong communication skills
• MS Office proficiency
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays
• Read/understand safety instructions in English
• Experience conducting investigations is a plus
• Locomotive engineer qualification is an asset

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to improve yard/road flow to LOSP/OP
• Oversee train movements and ensure safe execution of LOSP/OP
• Manage safety, service, productivity, and terminal metrics
• Lead safety compliance and corrective actions
• Conduct investigations and recommend actions
• Perform efficiency tests and attend incidents as needed
• Manage terminal and line-of-road inventory
• Coach Train & Engine personnel
• Occasionally operate trains and maintain certifications (CROR/GCOR)
