Training Team Member - Anti-Corruption & Behavioral Science Democracy International is seeking a
Team Member to revise and improve the training deck on integrity, anti-corruption, and prohibited practices for the Office of Anticorruption and Integrity (OAI) at the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The Team Leader will oversee Team Member(s) and ensure the successful completion of the project. The project will be carried out over a period of 10 weeks, with the following milestones:
- Week 1-2: Initial review and gap analysis.
- Week 3-5: Content revision and development of interactive elements.
- Week 6-8: Finalization and delivery of revised training deck and the Toolkit for trainers.
- Week 9: Conduct training sessions for trainers.
- Week 10: Submission of recommendations for ongoing updates and improvements
This role will be remote with potential travel to Manila and will be contingent on award and funding. Essential Job Duties: - Contribute to the achievement of milestones in a timely manner with high-quality training and knowledge products;
- Contribute to the revisions and improvement of the training deck on integrity, anti-corruption, and prohibited practices within the context of development projects;
- Help ensure training materials effectively communicate the importance of integrity and anti-corruption in development by using innovative communications strategies and methods, such as behavioral economics and “nudge” theory;
- Help ensure training content is aligned with ADB and OAI policies and procedures;
- Assist in the incorporation of interactive elements (e.g., Mentimeter use, case studies, quizzes) and real-life scenarios into trainings to facilitate better understanding and retention;
- Support facilitation of training for trainers to ensure effective delivery of the revised materials
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, preferably in Governance, International Development Public Policy, Law, Education, Behavioral Economics, or other relevant areas;
- At least two (2) years of experience developing training curricula and/or educational materials and/or conducting training and training-of-trainers for senior and mid-level professionals in relevant sectors (e.g., government, international development, law);
- Proven experience or expertise in relevant areas (e.g., anticorruption, integrity, transparency, oversight, behavioral economics);
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience supporting similar activities at the region or country-level across the Asia region;
- Experience with behavioral economics and applying behavioral insights a plus;
- Prior experience working with ADB agencies, especially the OAI, or international development organizations specializing in anti-corruption and integrity in Asia is a plus.
- Fluency in English required.
