Position Overview: Democracy International is seeking a Team Member to revise and improve the training deck on integrity, anti-corruption, and prohibited practices for the Office of Anticorruption and Integrity (OAI) at the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The Team Leader will oversee Team Member(s) and ensure the successful completion of the project.

Project Timeline:

  1. Weeks 1-2: Initial review and gap analysis.
  2. Weeks 3-5: Content revision and development of interactive elements.
  3. Weeks 6-8: Finalization and delivery of revised training deck and Toolkit for trainers.
  4. Week 9: Conduct training sessions for trainers.
  5. Week 10: Submit recommendations for ongoing updates and improvements.

Note: This role is remote with potential travel to Manila and is contingent on award and funding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to achieving project milestones with high-quality training and knowledge products.
  • Assist in revising and improving training materials on integrity, anti-corruption, and prohibited practices.
  • Ensure training content effectively communicates the importance of integrity and anti-corruption, utilizing innovative strategies such as behavioral economics and "nudge" theory.
  • Align training content with ADB and OAI policies and procedures.
  • Incorporate interactive elements (e.g., Mentimeter, case studies, quizzes) and real-life scenarios to enhance understanding and retention.
  • Support facilitation of training for trainers to ensure effective delivery of materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Governance, International Development, Public Policy, Law, Education, Behavioral Economics, or related fields.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience developing training curricula, educational materials, and conducting training or training-of-trainers for professionals in relevant sectors.
  • Proven expertise in areas such as anti-corruption, integrity, transparency, oversight, or behavioral economics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience supporting similar activities regionally in Asia.
  • Experience with behavioral economics and applying behavioral insights is a plus.
  • Prior experience working with ADB or international development organizations in anti-corruption and integrity in Asia is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English required.
