Job summary

Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, is seeking a Learning & Training Lead for the Troy Operations site to drive technical training and workforce development. You will leverage site metrics to identify training needs, lead trainers, and ensure delivery of standard and custom modules across the workforce.

You will also serve as the LMS administration SME and collaborate with the Talent & Organizational Capability organization on strategic skills, workforce planning, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Previous production operations/manufacturing experience.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries.
  • Proficiency with data analytics/analysis in support ROI success.
  • Strong business software skills (e.g. MS Office Suite and website/data warehouse applications)

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical training for the Troy Operations site.

  • Partner with other functions to analyze manufacturing deficiencies and create training programs.

THE WORK

The individual selected for this position will lead technical training for the Troy Operations site.

In addition, the successful candidate will use the site’s metrics to identify areas of training needs and lead the represented trainers on site in the delivery of technical training to the workforce.

Technical training may include standard, repeatable modules, customized and new product modules.

Partners with other functions for the analyses of current manufacturing deficiencies to identify training needs and develop training programs

Continuously revises learning needs with the site’s metrics to ensure course offerings meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.

In this role, the successful candidate will serve as the Learning System Administration subject matter expert for the site and serve as the point of contact to the RMS business area Talent & Organizational Capability organization for collaboration on critical skills, strategic workforce planning, cultural initiatives, etc.

This role will also play an integral role in continuous improvement initiatives, internal/external quality audit preparation/response and new hire training across the site.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
