Job summary

Trojan Battery Company is actively seeking a Training Supervisor to design, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate workforce training programs. This role partners with operations, HR, and SMEs to build a skilled, engaged workforce focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years in vocational training within manufacturing, with bilingual English/Spanish proficiency and strong coaching abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Workforce Development, Training and Development, Human Resources, Manufacturing Operations, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in vocational training, employee development, or a related training function within manufacturing.
• Experience in both hands-on and classroom training delivery.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and competency-based training.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs with managers and leaders to identify skill gaps and align with business goals.
• Design, develop, implement, and improve training programs and materials.
• Deliver classroom, hands-on, and on-the-job training using varied methods.
• Maintain Level Guideline documentation and track certifications.
• Coach and develop Team Lead Trainers and trainees to boost performance.
• Monitor training effectiveness using KPIs, records, and performance data.
