Job summary

A North American resource and materials company is seeking a Training Specialist to ensure effective training programs at Thacker Pass. Responsibilities include coordinating training for employees, maintaining compliance, and developing materials. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in a relevant training department, excellent communication skills, and capability in building training programs. This role is based in Winnemucca, NV and may require travel to various sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a training department of a mining or chemical processing organization.
• Proven ability to design and deliver training programs that meet requirements.
• Documented experience in 'train-the-trainer'.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate training programs for TPP employees and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, and all applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with the Training Superintendent to improve training programs.
• Facilitate classroom and hands-on training.
• Maintain records and training content in the LMS.
