Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking a Training Specialist III in Richland, WA to support Navarro-ATL and the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy.

You will develop training materials using ADDIE, design curricula, coordinate needs analyses, deliver sessions, and evaluate learner performance to ensure safety and proficiency.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5 years of related experience, or education-focused coursework if not in Training/Education.
• Familiarity with DOE Order 426.2 is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and instructional technologies.

Overview

Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is hiring for a Training Specialist III in Richland, WA.

This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

Responsible for preparing and conducting education training and development programs. Partners with functional organization(s) to identify training needs, prepare training materials and develop course content. Designs, develops, coordinates, and implements effective training methods/curriculums to provide employees with the technical knowledge and skills required to perform their jobs safely and proficiently. Accountable for student skill acquisition and evaluates student performance.. Keeps abreast of training and development research, new materials, methods, and techniques.

Under general supervision, candidates must be able to complete the following duties:

• Develop and revise training materials for 222-S Lab positions using the Systematic Approach to Training and ADDIE model that meets requirements of DOE order 426.2.

• Coordinate Needs analysis and job/tasks analysis in the development of training

• Develop training programs in conjunction with task to training matrix.

• Develop lesson plans designed to enable trainees to meet terminal and enabling objectives.
• Work with on-the-job trainers and evaluators to ensure OJT/OJE requirements and expectations are met.
• Validate and assess exam questions based on trainee performance and feedback.
• Assess and revise training materials as changes in policy, procedures, regulations, and requirements occur.
• Interface with Procedure Writers to ensure procedures and training material are aligned.
• May represent the organization to internal groups and provide development-specific information to requestors.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in related field and 5 years of related experience. Must have courses in education or training that focus on instructional analysis, design, development, delivery, and testing, as well as evaluation of training programs, if baccalaureate is not in Training or Education.

• Familiarity with application and implementation of DOE Order 426.2.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Desired Qualifications

Proficient in Articulate 360 software.

Compensation

Grade 16: $90,150 - $113,550

The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or relevant experience.
