Job summary

Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC is seeking a Training Specialist to support the CDC by developing engaging eLearning courses and video scripts. The role emphasizes instructional design using ADDIE, creating detailed storyboards, and ensuring accessibility and brand compliance across multiple LMS platforms.

Responsibilities include reviewing courses, piloting tests, and producing training materials and CE accreditation packets.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop eLearning course outlines using ADDIE with 3–5 drafts per course and 6–8 courses per year.
• Create eLearning storyboards with content, graphics, interactions, and assessments.
• Develop job aids, self-study guides, and just-in-time training resources with Section 508 accessibility.
• Develop or review video scripts for voiceover narration in eLearning courses.
• Participate in course reviews and pilot tests; document results and implement changes.
• Program Section 508–compliant, SCORM-conformant courses in Captivate, Lectora or similar tools (3–4 courses/year).
• Create final education/training materials meeting CDC/DLS branding and accessibility standards.
• Upload courses to CDC-approved LMS platforms (CDC TRAIN, OneLab REACH, HHS Learning Portal).
• Respond to reviewer comments within 2 business days.
• Produce CE accreditation packets (10–20 per year).
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop eLearning course outlines using the A.D.D.I.E. instructional design model, 3-5 drafts & 1 final per course with 6-8 courses per year. Outlines will include target audience, goals, objectives, and the basic structure of the eLearning course.


• Develop eLearning course storyboards using the A.D.D.I.E. instructional design model, 3-5 drafts & 1 final per course with 6-8 courses per year. Storyboards will include content, suggestions for graphics, suggestions for interactions or other adult learning engagement strategies and pre/post examinations.


• Develop job aids, self-study guides, and other just-in-time training resources. Integrate Section 508 accessibility standards into print materials to allow members of the public with disabilities to access information that is comparable to information provided to persons without disabilities.


• Develop or review video scripts to be used for voice over narration in eLearning courses.


• Participate in eLearning course reviews and pilot tests. The contractor shall compile all review responses and pilot test results into a written document to share with TWDB project team. The contractor shall include recommendations for courses changes based on review or pilot test results. Upon agreement from the project team, the contractor shall implement all changes into the storyboard. All final storyboards will need to be submitted to the project team lead.


• Program Section 508-compliant, SCORM-conformant eLearning courses in Adobe Captivate, Lectora, or similar eLearning software selected by TWDB Leadership, 3-4 courses per year, 2-3 prototypes and 1 final per course.


• Create a final version of each education and training resource that meets CDC and DLS standards for branding, Section 508 compliance, and clear communication.


• Upload finalized, cleared training courses and supporting materials to all CDC-approved LMS (e.g., CDC TRAIN, OneLab REACH, HHS Learning Portal, etc.).


• Respond to reviewer comments and compiled pilot tester feedback within 2 business days of receipt.


• Section 508-compliant training resources, including course brochures and just-in-time training materials (e.g., job aids, facilitation guides, slide decks, PDF handouts, recordings of live webinars).


• Prepare continuing education (CE) accreditation packets for TWDB training materials, 10-20 packets per year.


• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
