Job summary

Jubilant HollisterStier Spokane is seeking a Training Specialist I, D Shift, Line 1 (CMO) to design, develop and deliver training materials ensuring cGMP compliance in a parenteral manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes onboarding and on-the-job training within a leading pharmaceutical environment.

You will use the LMS to implement training initiatives, assess effectiveness, and collaborate with stakeholders to address training needs.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ manufacturing experience and completion of the Train the Trainer course.
• Leadership experience required.
• Training experience required.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Trackwise, Master Control and Compliance Wire required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and map manufacturing processes, including sterilization and filling.
• Develop and maintain On Job Training (OJT), Instructor Led Training (ILT) and CBT programs.
• Monitor training effectiveness and audit training records for compliance.
• Deliver training to all levels of Jubilant HollisterStier employees.
• Create and update training material and competency assessments.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to identify training needs.
• Propose solutions to improve training productivity and performance.
• Stay informed on current training methodologies through continued education.
• Onboard new hires and coordinate curriculum changes.

Job Description

The Training Specialist I, D Shift, Line 1 (CMO) focuses in two primary areas. OB (onboarding) works primarily in the space of new hire training. OJT (on the job) work primarily with existing Personnel in functional manufacturing areas. Both have functional responsibility for designing, developing, and delivering training materials and documentation. Primary responsibilities of the Training Specialist will be to use the Learning Management System (LMS) to achieve compliance with the cGMP needs of the facility. This will require understanding the operation of equipment and processes in the manufacturing area to meet business needs related to parenteral production.

This role will

• Understand manufacturing processes, including but not limited to processing source materials, equipment and component preparation and sterilization, aseptic filling, lyophilization, and inspection & packaging.
• Utilize current instructional design techniques to create and maintain On Job Training (OJT), Instructor Led Training (ILT), and Computer Based Training (CBT) initiatives and programs.
• Monitor training effectiveness.
• Perform routine audits of training records to ensure compliance.
• Deliver training courses to all levels of JHS employees.
• Create training material.
• Perform competency assessments.
• Collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders for the purpose of serving as a liaison and resource in identifying employee training needs.
• Create and present solutions to resolve identified training productivity and performance issues.
• Stay well informed of new and current training methodologies, theories, and techniques through continued education.
• Onboarding of new hires.
• Perform the functions of training coordinator such as adding roles to curriculums and approving new hire curriculums.
• Other duties as assigned.
