Job summary

Jubilant HollisterStier Spokane is seeking a Training Specialist I, B Shift, Formulation to design, develop, and deliver training that ensures cGMP compliance in parenteral manufacturing. The role focuses on onboarding and on-the-job training across manufacturing areas.

You will use the LMS, create ILT/OJT/CBT programs, monitor training effectiveness, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to close training gaps, with competitive wages and day-one benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Associate or Bachelors Degree Preferred.
• 2 years manufacturing experience and Train the Trainer course completed.
• Leadership and training experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Trackwise, MasterControl and Compliance Wire.

Responsibilities

• Understand manufacturing processes including processing source materials, equipment and preparation, sterilization, aseptic filling, lyophilization, and packaging.
• Design, develop, and deliver training using LMS to meet cGMP needs.
• Create On Job Training (OJT), Instructor Led Training (ILT), and Computer Based Training (CBT) programs.
• Monitor training effectiveness and audit records for compliance.
• Deliver training courses to all levels of employees.
• Create training material and perform competency assessments.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify training needs.
• Present solutions to improve training productivity and performance.
• Stay informed of new training methodologies and on-boarding of new hires.
• Perform training coordinator duties such as curriculum changes and new hire approvals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

The Training Specialist I, B Shift, Formulation (CMO) focuses in two primary areas. OB (onboarding) works primarily in the space of new hire training. OJT (on the job) work primarily with existing Personnel in functional manufacturing areas. Both have functional responsibility for designing, developing, and delivering training materials and documentation. Primary responsibilities of the Training Specialist will be to use the Learning Management System (LMS) to achieve compliance with the cGMP needs of the facility. This will require understanding the operation of equipment and processes in the manufacturing area to meet business needs related to parenteral production.

This role will

• Understand manufacturing processes, including but not limited to processing source materials, equipment and component preparation and sterilization, aseptic filling, lyophilization, and inspection & packaging.
• Utilize current instructional design techniques to create and maintain On Job Training (OJT), Instructor Led Training (ILT), and Computer Based Training (CBT) initiatives and programs.
• Monitor training effectiveness.
• Perform routine audits of training records to ensure compliance.
• Deliver training courses to all levels of JHS employees.
• Create training material.
• Perform competency assessments.
• Collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders for the purpose of serving as a liaison and resource in identifying employee training needs.
• Create and present solutions to resolve identified training productivity and performance issues.
• Stay well informed of new and current training methodologies, theories, and techniques through continued education.
• Onboarding of new hires.
• Perform the functions of training coordinator such as adding roles to curriculums and approving new hire curriculums.
• Other duties as assigned.
