Job summary

Jubilant HollisterStier LLC in Spokane, WA, is seeking a Training Specialist I to design, deliver, and manage onboarding and on-the-job training in a cGMP environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience and completion of the Train the Trainer course.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Trackwise, MasterControl, and ComplianceWire.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver onboarding and OJT training materials.
• Use LMS to ensure cGMP compliance and maintain training records.
• Create and maintain ILT, CBT, and OJT programs and monitor training effectiveness.
• Perform routine audits of training records and deliver courses to all levels of staff.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify training needs.
• Onboard new hires and assist with training coordination tasks.

Job Description:

The Training Specialist I focuses on two primary areas. OB (onboarding) works primarily in the space of new hire training. OJT (on the job) work primarily with existing personnel in functional manufacturing areas. Both have functional responsibility for designing, developing, and delivering training materials and documentation. Primary responsibilities of the SVP Training Specialist I will be to use the Learning Management System (LMS) to achieve compliance with the cGMP needs of the facility. This will require understanding of the operation of equipment and processes in the manufacturing area in order to meet business needs related to parental production.

• Understanding manufacturing processes, including but not limited to: processing source materials, equipment and component preparation and sterilization, aseptic filling, lyophilization and inspection and packing.
• Utilize current instructional design techniques to create and maintain On the Job Training (OJT), Instructor Led Training (ILT), and Computer Based Training (CBT) initiatives and programs.
• Monitor training effectiveness.
• Perform routine audits of training records to ensure compliance.
• Deliver training courses to all levels of JHS employees.
• Create training material.
• Perform competency assessments.
• Collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders for the purpose of serving as a liaison and resource in identifying employee training needs.
• Create and present solutions to resolve identified training productivity and performance issues.
• Stay well-informed of new and current training methodologies, theories, and techniques through continued education.
• Onboarding of new hires.
• Perform functions of training coordinator such as adding roles to curriculums and approving new hire curriculums.
• Other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience and completion of the Train the Trainer course.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred:

• Associate or Bachelor Degree.
• Leadership experience.
• Training Experience.

Working Environment:

• Respirator Clearance
• Exposure to latex

• Work in a cleanroom

Location: Spokane, WA - On Site, Full-Time

Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-3:30PM
