Job summary

Fox Restaurant Concepts, an entity of The Cheesecake Factory, is seeking a Training Specialist for Flower Child in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on administering all training initiatives and coordinating materials, events, and programs with a strong emphasis on organization and teamwork.

You will work with senior leadership to ensure consistent delivery, effectiveness of training programs, and alignment with restaurant goals while supporting front- and back-of-house teams.

Responsibilities

• Organize incoming mail and packages and prepare outgoing training deliveries.
• Assist in organizing and delivering training binders and information for Managers in Training.
• Support printing and organization of materials for trainings, classrooms, and remote sessions.
• Coordinate team meetings, including materials, scheduling, and food/bev.
• Proactively organize, maintain and report on active training initiatives and programs.
• Assist in planning, development, evaluation and enhancement of training programs to meet restaurant goals.
• Maintain ongoing training programs for front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
• Ensure tracking and reporting tools measure program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Directors and senior teams to ensure consistent delivery and measurement.
• Coordinate cross-department efforts for menu rollouts and promotional calendars.
• Assist with orientations, classes, and ad hoc duties.

The Role:

The Training Specialist will contribute to the success of Fox Restaurant Concepts by functioning as the administrator for all training initiatives and functions. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys working in an office of collaborative individuals who are passionate about hospitality and training. We are hiring immediately!

• Organize incoming mail and packages, as well as prepare outgoing deliveries for training via UPS and FedEx.
• Assist in organization and delivery of training binders, packages, and information for newly hired Managers in Training (MIT’s).
• Assist with organization and printing of materials for training events, classrooms, and remote sessions.
• Assist with organization and execution of team meetings, including printed materials, scheduling, food & bev, and execution.
• Proactively organize, maintain and report on active training initiatives and programs.
• Assist with planning, development, evaluation and enhancement of comprehensive training and development programs to meet restaurant goals and objectives.
• Assist in maintaining on-going, constantly evolving training programs for front-of-house, and back-of-house restaurant employees.
• Ensure appropriate tracking & reporting tools are in place to determine program effectiveness.
• Work directly with Director of People & Retention, Training and Senior Operations Teams to ensure consistency in training program delivery & measurements.
• Work with other departments to help coordinate efforts for menu rollouts, promotional planners, calendars, and other cross-department projects.
• Assist in facilitation/organization of orientations, classes, training, etc.
• Perform any ad hoc duties as requested.
