Job summary

JPS Composite Materials is seeking a Training Specialist to develop, organize, coordinate, and deliver training programs at the Anderson, SC and Statesville plants to ensure associates have the technical skills and safety knowledge to meet production goals.

You will create training tools, work with the Training Manager and Supervisors to keep curricula accurate and up-to-date, and assist with new hire orientation. A 30% travel requirement between sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field desired.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and standardize training materials, manuals, SOP-based modules, and instructional resources.
• Develop and roll out training and development videos.
• Develop and conduct soft skills and leadership programs (supervisory training, communication, performance management, team leadership).
• Build training folders for new hires and associates that have been awarded a new position.
• Assist with orientation for new hires completing JSHAs, JQAs, and JSOs.
• Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly training reports to leadership.
• Provide feedback and support to Training Supervisors.
• Support audits and inspections related to training records.
