Clark Mechanical Services, Inc. is seeking a Training Specialist to design and deliver technical training at the warehouse level, ensuring consistent program implementation across departments and shifts to boost knowledge, productivity, and output quality.

The role emphasizes collaboration with management and team leads to identify needs, implement onboarding, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality technical/hard skill training to newly hired employees as part of onboarding program within the distribution center
• Administer ongoing technical training during new process rollouts, system changes or after knowledge gaps identified
• Communicate and collaborate with team leads and employees across departments and shifts to identify training needs and opportunities for continuous improvement
• Support high performance standards using coaching, training, and development strategies that drive operational best practices across departments
• Maintain a high level of operating knowledge and positive employee relations
• Provide professional and constructive feedback to employees throughout the training process, based on company standards and expectations
• Serve as a resource for all employees regarding job tasks, company policies and warehouse initiatives
• Collaborate with the Manager of Training & Development on best practices for effective training strategies
• Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals
• Abide by all company and warehouse policies
• Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation

Job Summary

The Training Specialist works closely with their manager to provide instruction and deliver various technical/hard skill training programs to staff at the warehouse level. This position ensures that training programs are implemented consistently across departments and shifts with the intent to enhance knowledge and skills of employees, ensuring a high degree of productivity, as well as increasing the accuracy and quality of work performed.
