Job summary

Truck-Lite in Wellsboro, PA, is seeking a Training Coordinator to support the HR and training departments across PA plants. The role focuses on partnering with plant leaders to ensure employees are trained to the Truck-Lite standard.

The incumbent will develop training content, maintain records, perform on-the-floor spot checks of OJT, deliver CPR and trainer courses, generate training reports, and drive continuous improvements in training processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate information flow between HR Training Team and facilities on the training process.
• Develop training content and program materials aligned with business outcomes.
• Maintain training records and report on training systems.
• Spend time on the manufacturing floor performing OJT spot checks.
• Oversee on-the-job training, CPR, Train the Trainer, Lean training, and annual trainings.
• Generate and communicate training activity reports to leadership and drive improvements.
• Enter completed trainings and course updates in the training system across plants.
• Evaluate policy and procedure effectiveness within the training process.
• Track new hires to ensure proper training across departments.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to select qualified OJT trainers.
• Ensure training facilitation, materials, and records comply with quality and environmental standards.
• Provide high-level internal customer service with strong communication.
• Continuously improve training content and processes.
• Adapt training to changing business needs.
• Deliver new hire orientation at Wellsboro plant.

This role will support the Truck-Lite training department and the HR Department for the PA plants with a primary focus in Wellsboro. This person will partner with all plant departments to ensure that employees are trained to the Truck-Lite standard.

• Responsibilities include**:
• Coordinate the collection of information/communications with HR Training Team members and each facility with various inputs from Facility Designees, Plant Manager/Department Managers, etc. on the overall training process.
• Develops professional training content and program materials that support the desired business outcomes.
• Ensures training records are up to date, and that includes the tracking and reporting of training systems.
• Spends time daily on the manufacturing floor, ensuring spot checks are completed on the OJT process.
• Provides complete oversight, maintains, trains, and continuously improves on-the-job training. This also includes CPR training, the Train the Trainer course, Lean manufacturing, and all required annual training.
• Generates reports for all training activities and communicates data and results with the appropriate members of leadership. Also provides summaries of results and drives improvements for areas of opportunity.
• Responsible for data entry of completed trainings, system changes, and course updates in the training system for all three plants as needed.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of policies, work instructions, and procedures within the training process.
• Oversees the tracking of new hires to ensure they are being trained properly for all departments.
• Collaborates with Plant Leadership to ensure that only the best OJT trainers are selected to deliver training.
• Ensures training facilitation, material, and records are in compliance with quality and environmental standards.
• Will provide a professional level of customer service to internal customers through a high level of communication skills.
• Have a continuous improvement mindset and will consistently improve content and the training process.
• Have a flexible and adaptable mindset to effectively pivot based on changing business needs and requirements.
• Maintains and delivers consistent new hire orientation in the Wellsboro plant.
• Supports the overall HR and Manufacturing team to ensure all employees are trained effectively.
