Training Specialist

Function

As a Training Specialist you are instrumental in designing, developing, and delivering training programs to end users of our software products.

By doing so, it enables them to take operational performance and customer experience to higher levels, while cutting costs to serve.

As a Training Specialist…

• Develop Training materials to support the implementation of software products
• Conduct training sessions both in person and virtually to educate end-users on how to use software applications effectively
• Customize training programs to meet the specific needs and skill levels of different user groups
• Collaborate with internal Itineris teams to remain up-to-date on new feature and updates to software products
• Provide ongoing support to end-users by answering questions,troubleshooting issues and offering additional training as needed
• Collect feedback from users to assess the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in software training and incorporate them into training programs
• Facilitate client testing and validation of converted data,business processes and software modifications
• Complete special training projects, as assigned

A dynamic team player looking to grow in an evolving, international environment and who has

• 3+ years of experience developing and delivering training materials in an adult classroom setting
• Previous experience within the software or utility sector preferred but not mandatory
• Superior communication and presentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Instructional design experience, including curriculum development, creation of course materials and formulation of exercises for both instructor led and eLearning approaches is a plus
• Post-secondary education in Adult Education and/or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Education, or related field is an asset
• Knowledge of cloud solutions and concepts
