Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

At StreetLight, we’re on a mission to help our customers make smarter transportation decisions — and we need a Technical Trainer who can bring that mission to life! We're looking for someone who can design, develop, and deliver top-notch training experiences, both online and in person, to ensure our customers feel confident and empowered when using our products.

If you have a strong background in instructional design for enterprise software and love creating learning experiences that are engaging, accessible, and effective, this role is for you! You'll collaborate with teams across the company to craft content tailored for different audiences, deliver training sessions, and continuously refine our instructional strategies.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and deliver live and online training programs to help customers get the most out of StreetLight products and solutions.
  • Partner with teams across the company to create clear, engaging instructional content.
  • Ensure effective content use and reuse from or within other areas, such as product marketing, customer support, training, and information development.
  • Contribute to the evolution of instructional strategies and approaches, design patterns, and standards and best practices.
  • Manage logistics, scheduling, and performance analytics for training sessions.

What You Bring

  • Experience developing instructional content for enterprise software, specifically for data analysis products.
  • Comfort developing and delivering instructional content for technical audiences, including developers.
  • Experience rolling out and delivering programs, including process and technical training.
  • Strong content development skills and familiarity with related tools and technologies.
  • Strong interest in the customer and user experience and instructional design.
  • A focus on quality and detail within a fast-paced environment.
  • A customer-first mindset—ensuring our users have a smooth and informative learning experience.
  • The ability to develop and maintain standards, guidelines, and design systems.
  • The ability to meet deadlines, work within multiple delivery tracks, and juggle multiple projects at once.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with LMS platforms, Vimeo, Camtasia, WalkMe, and Salesforce
  • Familiarity with transportation data and the transportation industry
  • Knowledge of web development, HTML5 (HTML/CSS/JS) is a plus
  • Knowledge of WalkMe and Paligo is a plus
  • Knowledge of Design Thinking is a plus
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and WCAG compliance is a plus

The base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $130,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
