Job summary

Veros Credit, LLC is seeking a Training Specialist to design, develop, and deliver a comprehensive training program across departments. You will evaluate tools, monitor activities, and administer training to improve job skills.

In collaboration with management, you will update materials and ensure alignment with policy changes. The role requires 3+ years in consumer/auto finance training, strong instructional design, and delivery skills, with optional bilingual capability (English/Spanish).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive training experience in consumer finance or auto finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver a comprehensive training program for multiple departments.
• Evaluate training tools and revise instructional strategies to meet company needs.
• Monitor and record training activities for program effectiveness.
• Administer training programs to maintain and improve employee skills.
• Assess training needs via surveys, interviews, focus groups, and management consultations.
• Create and update training manuals, guides, and course materials (handouts, visuals).
• Present information using diverse instructional methods (role plays, simulations, videos, lectures).
• Plan and direct company-wide training; develop alternative methods if results falter.
• Collaborate with management to stay current on policy, procedures, and initiatives.
• Gather attendee feedback to improve future content and delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About The Position

The Training Specialist will assist in designing, developing, and delivering a training program for various departments using a variety of media and will cover both general and specific areas such as new hire training, on-the job training, and advanced training courses.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Evaluate new training tools and revise instructional strategies, as needed, to meet the training needs of the Company.
• Monitor, evaluate, and record training activities to ensure program effectiveness.
• Administer training programs to help employees maintain and/or improve job skills.
• Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, and consultations with management.
• Organize and develop training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials such as handouts and visual materials.
• Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.
• Design, plan, organize, and direct training for all employees on a departmental and companywide level. Develop alternative training methods if expected results are not achieved.
• Work closely with the management team to stay updated on all changes in policy, procedure, and business initiatives.
• Collect feedback from training session attendees to use for future improvements to content and presentation.
• Other duties assigned.

Essential Requirements:

• 3+ years of progressive training experience in the consumer finance industry; auto finance industry experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
• Virtual training experience is preferred.
• Effective leadership and motivational skills.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact with others in a professional and efficient manner.
• Proficient with the Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
• Ability to travel, both domestic and international, up to 20%.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
