Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a training specialist to provide comprehensive training services, develop instructional materials, and deliver instruction across multiple sites. The role involves collaborating with the Director, performing needs assessments, and designing training devices and processes for manufacturing and distribution environments.

Travel is required within northern Georgia and occasionally beyond Georgia and the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience planning, developing, delivering or evaluating training programs or academic instruction.
• Associates degree in a related field and three years of related work experience.
• Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in management, instructional technology, industrial technologies or a related field and 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing training environment.
• Preferred experience with instructional design methodology for manufacturing and large-scale distribution process training.
• Preferred experience conducting training analysis and task analysis.
• Preferred data entry experience, including updating schedules within an interactive management system.
• Preferred experience configuring training material packages and presenting technical training classes.
• Preferred experience designing and building high-functioning training simulators and devices.
• Preferred experience with operation of multi-site training centers.
• Preferred experience working with training information management systems.
