Job summary

Job description

This position is in the Defense Civilian Personnel Advisory Service (DCPAS) organization and Personnel Readiness Management Agency (PRMA). PRMA is a Department of War (DoW) Field Activity, of the Under Secretary of War (Personnel and Readiness) (USW (P&R)). The position will be filled as a TERM Not to Exceed September 30, 2028. Agency has the option to extend TERM Appointments up to 4 years. You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:

• Commanding of all phases of the education and training lifecycle (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) to manage and deliver diverse administrative courses enterprise-wide;
• Conducting comprehensive internal, external, and accreditation evaluations against prescribed, measurable standards using instructional measurement, survey design, and data analysis;
• Optimizing technical training support and institutional capabilities using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and emerging educational technologies;
• Leveraging evaluation data and instructional measurement techniques to establish or modify guidelines, develop innovative solutions, and drive continuous agency-wide process improvements;
• Building mutually satisfying solutions that align with the varying, complex mission requirements of the enterprise by applying communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

A. Education

• Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.

OR

B. Experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include:

• Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s).
• Supervising or administering a training program.
• Development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results.
• Work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis.
