Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Training Simulation Engineer to help shape software-based training environments and foundational web frameworks that interact with Lattice OS through TypeScript and xAPI. You will work across front-end and back-end to optimize training infrastructure and tooling for global users.

You will design scalable modules, integrate simulations, and mentor peers while delivering end-to-end trainer scenarios and ensuring high-quality engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent industry experience.
• Solid foundation in modern algorithms and data structures.
• Experience building production web applications in JavaScript or TypeScript (TypeScript, React, RxJS).
• Experience with CMI5/xAPI and LMS/LRS integration.
• Proficiency with backend languages such as C++, Rust, or Go.
• Working knowledge of automated testing tools and version control.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to export controlled information access.

Responsibilities

• Build full stack features for end-user trainer scenario construction and deployment.
• Integrate flight simulations and emulators for Anduril robot representations in simulation.
• Create NPC logic for scene noise and adversary target behaviors.
• Create scalable modules adaptable to various customer contexts.
• Participate in simulation event readiness reviews.
• Design instructional tool tips and videos for non-technical users.
• Participate and execute training simulation scenario development.
