Job summary

Quantum Technology Group, LLC is seeking a part-time Training Lead to design and deliver knowledge transfer for the VA Enterprise Load Balancing Solution. You will create role-based instruction and practical assessments to enable Government SMEs to operate the platform by period end.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years of enterprise IT training, and VA/DoD clearance eligibility. Remote work within CONUS is supported with VA site coordination as directed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, instructional design, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years delivering enterprise IT technical training, hands-on labs, and competency assessments.
• Experience developing knowledge transfer curricula and instructor-led training.
• Clearance: VA background investigation and access approval; citizenship: U.S.
• Ability to coordinate with engineering SMEs and produce measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop Knowledge Transfer Curriculum Document aligned with Government SME profiles and gates.
• Plan and deliver instructor-led training with 80+ classroom hours per cohort and multiple cohorts.
• Coordinate hands-on exercises in a non-production environment covering architecture, configuration, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain an Operational Runbook Library with engineers and a Technical Writer; cover major procedures.
• Record training sessions and maintain video assets for Government retention beyond contract period.
• Coordinate shadow rotations, conduct quarterly assessments, and produce the Quarterly Competency Assessment Report.

Clearance Level: VA background investigation and access approval appropriate to assigned duties

Quantum Technology Group, LLC is seeking a skilled Training Lead to lead structured knowledge transfer for the VA Enterprise Load Balancing Solution in support of VTP. The Training Lead develops role-based instruction and practical assessments so Government subject matter experts (SMEs) can assume platform operations by the end of the period of performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop the Knowledge Transfer Curriculum Document aligned with Government SME role profiles and competency gates agreed with the COR and program office.
• Plan and deliver instructor-led training with at least 80 classroom hours per cohort, at least two base-year cohorts, and at least one refresher cohort per exercised option period.
• Coordinate hands-on exercises in a non-production environment covering architecture, configuration, operational procedures, troubleshooting trees, and case studies.
• Develop and maintain the Operational Runbook Library with engineers and the Technical Writer; cover every major operational procedure.
• Record training sessions and maintain the video asset library for Government retention and use beyond the contract period.
• Coordinate shadow and reverse-shadow rotations, conduct quarterly competency assessments, and produce the Quarterly Competency Assessment Report; track readiness for Government-led operations.

Qualifications

Required

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, IT, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of demonstrated development and delivery of enterprise IT technical training, hands-on labs, knowledge transfer programs, and competency assessments.
• Skills: Instructional design, adult learning, facilitation, technical communication, recorded instruction, and coordination with engineering SMEs.
• Clearance: Obtain and maintain the VA-required background investigation, suitability determination, and PIV or other access credentials applicable to assigned duties. Any national security clearance requirement is determined by the assigned work.
• Citizenship: U.S. citizen required.

Preferred

• Experience delivering Citrix ADC/NetScaler, networking, application delivery, or infrastructure operations training.
• Federal or VA knowledge transfer experience and relevant instructional or platform credentials.

Knowledge and Experience

• Curriculum design for technical role profiles, learning objectives, troubleshooting scenarios, and measurable operational competency.
• Load balancing architecture, high availability, monitoring, configuration control, security practices, and incident escalation.
• Knowledge transfer runs concurrently with technical phases rather than only at closeout; the final operating model places Government SMEs in the lead and contractors in an advisory role.

Additional Requirements

• The staffing workbook allocates 960 hours in the base year and first option year, then 480 hours annually in later option years. Delivery scheduling and SME support must accommodate all required cohorts and assessments.
• Remain CONUS-based; complete VA security and privacy training and sign applicable Rules of Behavior. Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Coordinate any physical access to VA facilities or hardware through the COR before the event.
