Job summary

Joint Strategic Technologies (JST) seeks Training Instructors to support the central office as 1099 contractors (part-time). Travel up to 25-75% is required to deliver instruction, develop instructors, and engage customers.

You will analyze evaluation data, identify instructional strengths and gaps, and provide structured feedback to instructors and leadership. You will drive continuous improvement in facilitation methods, curriculum design, and learner outcomes across virtual and in-person

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Education, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, Human Development, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in curriculum design, facilitation, instruction, coaching and faculty development.
• Experience facilitating and instructing adult learners in professional, academic, PME, or executive education settings.
• Prior military experience or knowledge highly preferred.
• Prior formal teaching experience in adult education, higher education, PME, or equivalent professional learning settings.
• Certified in psychometric assessments (e.g., 4 Lenses, StrengthsFinder, MBTI, Change Style Indicator, etc.).
• ICF Executive Coach certification (ACC preferred) is desirable.
• Demonstrated expertise applying ISD/ADDIE and Kirkpatrick models to leadership development programs.
• Proven ability to analyze learning data and translate insights into instructional improvements.
• Experience governing and supporting instructional cadres.

Instructor Responsibilities

Instructor Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, Human Development, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience, including but not limited to curriculum design, facilitation, instruction, coaching, and faculty development.

• Indicator, Fundamental Interpersonal Orientation - Behavior, Thomas Killman Instrument, Campbell Leadership Index 360, Influence Style Indicator, Work Place Big 5, Decision Style Profile, Pearman, etc.
• Certified Executive Coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), ACC preferred.

Required Clearances And Screenings

• MUST be able to successfully pass a drug and background check
• Must be able to travel and teach independently
