Hydroform USA, Inc. in Carson, CA is seeking an Onsite Job Training Instructor (Bilingual English/Spanish) to develop and deliver technical training for new hires and existing staff in aerospace sheet metal manufacturing.

The role involves teaching in English and Spanish, coordinating with supervisors, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, AS9100, and quality standards. Travel locally may be required, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturday sessions.

Qualifications

  • Fluent bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, production operations, technical training, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and LMS.

Job Opening: Onsite Job Training Instructor (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Location: Carson/Long Beach

Department: Aerospace (Sheet Metal) Manufacturing Operations / Workforce Development

Job Type: Full-Time / Onsite

Schedule: M-F, 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., some Saturdays 5-10 a.m.

Position Summary

The Onsite Job Training Instructor develops and delivers technical and operational training programs for new hires and existing employees. This individual works closely with production supervisors, quality personnel, HR/Safety and subject matter experts to ensure employees are trained, qualified, and compliant with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable aerospace sheet-metal manufacturing regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct classroom, virtual, and hands-on training for manufacturing and production employees and safety & CMMC requirements.
  • Train employees in both English and Spanish on aerospace manufacturing processes, work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Evaluate employee performance and competency through observations, assessments, and practical demonstrations.
  • Maintain accurate training records and certification documentation.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and department leaders to identify training needs and skill gaps.
  • Develop, revise, and update training materials, presentations, and job aids.
  • Support and facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees and re-hires.
  • Monitor and reinforce compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, AS9100 standards, and other applicable regulations.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees to reinforce learning and improve performance.
  • Translate and explain technical information, work instructions, and training materials to English- and Spanish-speaking employees.
  • Assist with audits and training-related compliance activities.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
  • Maybe required to travel locally and/or out of State.
  • Work Schedule: M-F, 5 to 1:30 p.m., occasionally if needed Saturdays 5-10 a.m.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; plus, Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Fluent bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, production operations, technical training, or a related field.
  • Previous experience conducting employee instruction, training, or workforce development programs.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality systems.
  • Excellent communication in English and Spanish, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess learning needs and adapt training methods to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, aviation, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of AS9100, FAA, NADCAP, or ISO quality standards.
  • Training certification or instructional design experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge.
  • Experience with competency-based training programs.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk throughout production and manufacturing areas (stairs/ramps) for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods while conducting training sessions.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to spend significant time in manufacturing and production environments (Shop/Office)
