Job summary

AeroCore Technologies LLC in Brownsburg, Indiana is seeking a Training Manager to own and continually improve AeroCore's training system for technicians, inspectors, and support staff.

You will build curricula, maintain qualification records in Bridge, and ensure compliance with AS9100 Rev D and FAA Part 145 where applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education, manufacturing, aviation/aerospace experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a training or technical instruction role.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 or similar quality management system.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain detailed records under audit.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical procedures to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and maintain initial, recurrent, and on-the-job training programs for technicians, inspectors, and support personnel.
• Coordinate with field operations to develop multi-modal training for field technicians.
• Maintain training records, certifications, authorizations, and recurrency due dates.
• Develop and update training materials, job aids, and competency checklists tied to procedures.
• Coordinate with Quality Director to align training with AS9100 Rev D and Part 145 requirements.
• Conduct new-hire orientation covering safety and role procedures.
• Track training effectiveness and revise curricula based on audits or process changes.
• Support audits by producing training records and demonstrating controlled training processes.
• Partner with Safety on PPE training, hazard communication, and emergency procedures.

Role Summary:

The Training Manager owns the training system that keeps AeroCore's technicians, inspectors, and support staff effective, competent, and audit ready. This role builds and maintains initial and recurrent training curricula, tracks individual qualification records in Bridge (Training Software), and ensures training practices satisfy AS9100 Rev D and, where applicable, to include FAA Part 145 requirements. Works close on training-related findings and to keep the workforce qualified for the specific engine wash and manufacturing task performed.

Role Specifics:

Shift Schedule: Day Shift

Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm

On-Site Required. No Relocation.

Job Type: Full Time, Salary Position

Design, deliver, and maintain initial, recurrent, and on-the-job training programs for technicians, inspectors, and support personnel.

Closely engage with the field operations team to develop multi-modal training for field technicians to maximize their knowledge base and effectiveness

Maintain individual training and qualification records, including certifications, authorizations, and recurrency due dates, and flag lapses before they become findings.

Develop and update training materials, job aids, and competency checklists tied to specific procedures (for example, the engine wash manual and related work instructions). To include troubleshooting manuals

Coordinate with the Quality Director to align training and safety content with AS9100 Rev D clauses and, where applicable, Part 145 requirements.

Conduct new-hire orientation covering safety, and role-specific procedures.

Track training effectiveness and revise curricula based on audit findings, non-conformances, or process changes.

Support internal and external audits by producing training records and demonstrating a controlled training process.

Partner with Safety on required training such as PPE use, hazard communication, and emergency action procedures and assist in safety when needed

Identify skills gaps in coordination with department leaders and recommend training solutions

Maintain training documentation within the QMS document control system

Performs other duties as assigned

Role Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education, Manufacturing, aviation/aerospace industry experience
• 3+ years of experience in a training, or technical instruction role
• Working knowledge of AS9100 or a comparable quality management system.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort maintaining detailed records under audit scrutiny.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical procedures to a range of audiences.

Preferred Experience for This Position:

Experience in an FAA Part 145 repair station or other regulated aerospace environment.

Prior instructional design or adult-learning training.
