Job summary

Rullion is seeking a Training Instructor for an ongoing contract role at Hinkley Point C, delivering class-based and scenario-based training. The position is 4 days onsite per week with a PAYE pay rate of £180–£220 per day.

You will be part of the NSA Project Training Team, ensuring workers are confident and prepared for safety-critical operations. The role requires delivering approved training, managing schedules, and working with SMEs to keep content current.

The Role

As a Training Instructor, you'll be part of the Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA) EPR Project Training Team, supporting the HPC Construction and Commissioning Operations (CommOps) organisation. The majority of your work will involve delivering class-based and scenario-based training, ensuring our workforce is confident, capable and prepared to respond effectively in a safety-critical environment.

Principal Accountabilities

• Delivering approved training materials clearly and effectively to a diverse audience
• Leading classroom-based and scenario-based sessions with a strong focus on fire watcher training, IOSH accredited programmes, industrial safety, and emergency preparedness
• Supporting workforce development in areas such as incident response, safety awareness, and safe working practices in high-hazard environments
• Contributing to team objectives alongside personal targets
• Managing training schedules and maintaining accurate completion records
• Working with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with project needs
• Driving SMART actions and following them through to successful delivery
