Job summary

Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services seeks a Family Engagement Meeting Coordinator to plan and facilitate meetings that support safe, permanent, and well‑being outcomes for children and families. You will work within a trauma-informed system, collaborating with families, CFSD staff, and partners to gather information and drive decisions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of social services experience; child protection experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, or directly related degree.
  • Two years of social services work experience, or directly related work experience working with children and families in difficult and sometimes volatile situations.
  • Child protection work experience preferred.

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Child and Family Services Division.

Child and Family Services provides family-centered services within a trauma-informed system to assure safety, permanency, and well-being for children who are at risk of or have been subjected to child maltreatment. Working with families, CFSD develops partnerships to achieve positive safety, permanency, and well-being outcomes for children. This position plans and facilitates meetings to achieve these positive outcomes with extended support.

Additional Information

This position may be eligible for partial teleworkwithin the state of Montana.Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
