Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Instructional Design, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in Training & Development, Learning & Development, or a related HR role.
• Experience designing and facilitating training for diverse employee populations.
• Experience with LMS administration or training recordkeeping systems.

The Training & Development Specialist is responsible for assessing company-wide learning needs, designing and implementing effective training programs, and measuring their impact on employee performance and productivity. This role serves as the internal champion for employee growth, partnering with department leaders across Operations, Sales, and Administration to build a skilled, engaged workforce aligned with KDM's strategic goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about adult learning, skilled in instructional design, and able to translate business needs into practical, impactful training solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Training Needs Assessment & Organizational Development
• Training Delivery & Facilitation
• Learning Management System (LMS) Administration
• Training Communications & Employee Engagement

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Training & Development, Learning & Development, or a closely related HR role.
• Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating training programs for diverse employee populations.
• Experience with LMS administration or training recordkeeping systems.

Preferred

• Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) or Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) from ATD.
• SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
• Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
• Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate.
• Paycor payroll system experience.
