What You Will Do

Develop and maintain operations and maintenance training technical content, including presentations and accompanying materials.
Assess existing training programs to identify instructional, technical, administrative, and support needs.
Acquires subject knowledge through interviews, observation of engineering products, and review of technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and technical manuals.
Oversees preparation of illustrative materials, selecting appropriate drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts for inclusion into training documentation and instructional media.
Research technical documentation, engineering personnel input, and other subject matter experts to design effective learning and documentation solutions.
This role may require domestic and international travel (up to 15%).

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
  • Experience developing training materials or technical documentation.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills, with proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experience developing training materials or technical documentation.
  • Exposure to engineering environments, testing, or customer support.
  • Familiarity with illustration or graphic tools used in technical publications.
  • Experience in training instruction and training development in a military or civilian environment.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
