Job summary

RTX is seeking a Training Development Analyst I to support the Life Cycle Engineering team in Woburn, MA. You will research, develop, and revise operations and maintenance training plans and courses to meet technical, programmatic, and customer requirements.

You will also support other LCE program members and create instructional media, with travel required up to 15% to international and domestic sites as needed.

  • Oversees preparation of illustrative materials, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts for training documentation.
  • Research technical documentation, engineering input, and SME input to design effective learning solutions.
  • This role may require domestic and international travel (up to 15%).

What You Will Do

The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) Long Range Radars department is seeking a Training Development Analyst I to work onsite in Woburn, MA. LCE is responsible for ensuring our products are safe, reliable, maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our LCE disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM), Failure and Corrective Action Analysis, Government Property Management, Repair and Return Management, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).

As a Training Development Analyst, you'll be assigned to a Long Range Radar program and will be responsible for the training development in support of our operators and maintainers around the globe. This role will require you to research, develop, and revise operations and maintenance training plans and training courses in support of technical, programmatic, and customer requirements. The role also includes administrative support of other LCE and program team members to facilitate innovative and trusted solutions that optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Air & Space Defense System's products and services over their life cycle.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design and Technology, Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Training and Development, Technical Writing, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills, with proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experience developing training materials or technical documentation.
  • Experience in training instruction and training development in a military or civilian environment.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
