Job summary

Signify in Aurora, CO is seeking a Training Coordinator/Lead to deliver regular technical training for new hires and transfers, and to optimize placement of the assembly team on the lines under supervision. • High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience; electronics or electrical assembly environment preferred.
• 1+ year experience successfully leading a team.
• Familiar with safety and quality awareness; Lean skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide specified technical training regularly for new hires and transfers.
• Responsible for placement of the assembly team on the lines under the direction of the Supervisor.
• Assemble, wire, inspect, test and package fixtures via an assembly line or work-cell process; Perform quality checks.
• Enter complete and accurate work order information as required.
• Inventory/replenish parts to assembly stations; Use Kanban system to assure availability of parts.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5S.
• Bring health and safety issues, unsafe acts and safety suggestions to management's attention and educate others on proper procedures to ensure a safe environment; Actively participate in accident, injury and illness prevention activities.
