Job summary

The Arc Baltimore is seeking a Training Coordinator to develop and implement staff training programs that improve outcomes for individuals served by the agency. You will deliver and document trainings, maintain certifications (CPR, First Aid, etc.), and coordinate training activities with external trainers as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; seven years of related DDA or Training experience may substitute.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; travel within Baltimore metropolitan region may be required.
• Two years of experience in developmental disabilities including direct support, clinical support, and/or management.
• Experience with training delivery/facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, delivery, and quality assurance monitoring of staff training to support people served by the agency.
• Obtain and maintain certifications to teach required trainings (CPR, First Aid, Mandt, etc.).
• Coordinate and monitor training activities, report generation, and documentation.
• Serve as a resource for staff development and best practices in life-enhancing support.
• Work with other departments to resolve training-related issues and participate in committees.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and perform clerical duties for the Training Department.
