The Arc of the Ozarks is seeking a Staff Development Assistant to support our Staff Development and Training initiatives. This hourly, non-exempt role will assist with scheduling, materials coordination, attendance tracking, and Growth Academy activities, working across departments to ensure smooth operations.

We emphasize growth opportunities, paid training certifications (CPR/First Aid, de-escalation, etc.), and a retirement plan with a 4% match after one year.

Qualifications

• Accuracy and efficiency in detailed tasks.
• Excellent communication with team members.
• Effective time management and meeting deadlines.
• Tech-savvy with computerized record-keeping systems.
• Independent judgment with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six months clerical or relevant experience.
• Familiarity with The Arc of the Ozarks and its programs helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks to support staff development operations.
• Assist with scheduling and data management for training programs.
• Coordinate materials, attendance tracking, and event logistics.
• Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy files and records.
• Support Growth Academy activities and vendor coordination.
• Provide coverage for receptionist duties when needed.
• Uphold confidentiality of employee information.
