Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Training Coordinator to develop, implement, and evaluate employee training programs across Blytheville, AR and Birmingham, AL. You will collaborate with leadership to identify needs, create materials, and deliver training through various formats to support continuous improvement.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in training and proficiency with MS Office. You will manage documentation, drive onboarding, and promote health and safety in a fast-paced

  • Experience managing the full training lifecycle, including needs assessment, planning, development, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with employees and leaders across the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment."

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor training programs for production and operations team members.
  • Partner with facility leadership to assess training needs and identify development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with floor leads and supervisors in the ongoing evaluation and appraisal process for production employees.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
  • Manage training documentation, records, and reporting.
  • Coordinate and track employee participation and progress in the Department Mastery Program (DMP) to support cross-functional versatility and workforce development.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding sessions.
  • Create training materials, presentations, brochures, multimedia resources, and visual aids.
  • Deliver training through classroom instruction, demonstrations, on-the-job training, workshops, conferences, and meetings.
  • Provide performance-related feedback and training recommendations to facility leadership.
  • Support continuing education initiatives and leadership development programs.
  • Build strong working relationships across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Provide logistical support for training events, program development, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategic training plans.
  • Promote and support health and safety practices in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

About The Role

Zekelman Industries is seeking a highly motivated Training Coordinator to support our manufacturing operations in Blytheville, Arkansas and Birmingham, Alabama.
